Editorial Design Gewebte Formen / Woven Forms (160×240mm): mentored by Marietta Eugster, Giliane Cachin und Samira Schneuwly
Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (December 2025)

This book features the works of four artists, Elsi Giauque, Lenore Tawney, Magdalena Abakanowicz and Sheila Hicks, who had a major influence on the art world of the 20th century in the context of the textile industry. The focus is on the relationship between process and final result. The choice and placement of images are meant to encourage readers to question their own practice and design processes, a question that is especially essential in the age of artificial intelligence. The design is based on the grid of old files from the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, which also appear in the book.

Editorial Design Archive Continuum (297×240mm): mentored by Rosario Florio
Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen (März 2025)

The publication "Archive Continuum" brings together the output of the past few years of Kaleidoscope Magazine, a platform for art, fashion and music. The image index, which doubles as pagination, shows how the different art forms influence one another. The layout is determined by the notion of presence: based on the manuscripts, the speaking share of each featured artist was calculated. If an artist takes up 50% of the speaking share in an interview, for example, the images are scaled to half the page. In the written section, the speaker's position takes up 50% of the column width.

Editorial Design Instructions 3000 (297×210mm): mentored by Laura Prim and Rosario Florio
Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen (December 2024)

"Instructions 3000" is a publication intended to serve as a guide for extraterrestrials in the event of an Earth landing. Drawing on both the manifesto "How to Work Better" by Fischli Weiss and the artwork "Eat / Die" by Beni Bischof, it presents human habits, trends and topics from a socially critical perspective.

Visual Identity for Genova Design Week: mentored by Rosario Florio, Michel Egger and Beat Lüscher
Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen (April 2025)

The new visual identity for Genova Design Week was developed during a focus week in Italy, with the aim of creating a progressive and contemporary design. Inspired by this year's theme "Matter", the key visual serves as the foundation, and the rest of the design was built around it. The resulting mix of typefaces is meant to unite the two opposing aspects of tradition and innovation. The grid is based on the current year and could therefore easily be adapted in the years to come.

Poster Design and signage: mentored by Dominik Sieber
Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen (April 2023)

For the design framework of this wayfinding system for the brand Kiko Kostadinov, I took my cue from the SS23 collection. The idea was to give something existing a new dimension. The now very well-known collection, with pink as its main color, is diverse and unites opposites, which is picked up in the signage. The posters and the animation that go with it were created in my free time.

Editorial Design A–Zät (297×210mm): mentored by Valeria Bonin and Roland Müller
Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen (October 2023)

The starting point was the library of the Fachklasse Grafik. The task was to arrange part of its content alphabetically in an analog catalog. A concept emerged based on the category of typography books: it is based on the number of letters pronounced in the German name of the first letter of the book title. If a title begins with «A» or «O», for example, it is indented one step closer to the center of the book; for «B» (spelled «be») it would be two steps, and for «Y» (spelled «üpsilon») seven steps. To visualize order, the clear yet friendly Karl Mono is used.

Poster Design Therme Vals: mentored by Laura Prim
Schule für Gestaltung St. Gallen (February 2022)

The task was to depict the visual characteristics, qualities and surroundings of an architectural work in a poster. Peter Zumthor's Therme Vals combines spiritual experiences in a geometric and upright building with cold and hot baths. The color and form language, as well as details such as the overlap of round and square brackets, are meant to unite these two opposing factors and do justice to Zumthor's work.
